New Year, New History in the Making

On Saturday, February 14th, Vernon hosts the NorAm Cup Ski Race for the first time in New Jersey history. Organized by the national Olympic body for ski and snowboard in the U.S., the event brings over 120 of North America's top alpine athletes to compete head-to-head for a $75,000 prize purse, the largest in the event's history.

Spectators are welcome to watch the knockout rounds in person. With the 2022 Olympics in China on the horizon, this may be one of the last chances to see these athletes compete before they head to the Games.

The race is held at Hidden Valley Ski Area, a five-minute drive from Condos at the Creek. After the event, Mountain Creek is right next door for skiing and snowboarding of your own.
